Santa Barbara Ultimate
Condor Women

The Condor women have been playing continuously since 1981, when the UPA Women's division was created. In fact, it was the Lady Condors who proposed and worked for a separate Women's division (there's an interesting story about a meeting in a swimming pool). The Lady Condors dominated women's Ultimate between 1984-1990 worldwide, including finishing 1st in the nation 4 years in a row (1984-1987), and 1st at Worlds in 1986, 1988, 1989 and 1990. Since then, they have been working hard to reach Nationals and improve their standings (8th in 1998, 12th in 1999, and 10th in 2000). In 2001, they won SW Regionals for the first time in many years, and placed 8th at Nationals. In 2002, they placed 11th at the World Championships and 5th at Nationals.

This website is no longer updated, but it has great history.
