Team defense where everyone is shutting down their man and the thrower either gets stalled or is forced into a bad throw. That is everyone's D.

The quest for the perfect game.

When and where started playing ultimate:
I started playing with my family at a New Year's Day game in 1979 in Central Park. My brother played for a NY team and we played against his teammate's family. At the Bronx High School of Science in 1987, I started playing "organized" ultimate.

Lessons learned playing ultimate:
Running hard is great, but sometimes thinking is even greater.

Personal comment:
It's about wanting your opponent to play his best game ever, and beating him because you're playing your best game ever. Everyone achieves a pinnacle, succeeds, despite the scoreboard indicating one winner. Yep, that's what life is about.
