Favorite Type of Play:
Defense

Reason for playing ultimate:
I've loved the game since I first played barefoot on lower campus with Chris "Toaster" Hayden in 1991. The combination of competition, community, spirit of the game, friendship and the amazing flying frisbee has kept me coming back for 10 seasons now.

When and where started playing ultimate:
The first competitive ultimate I played was Portland spring league 1992. We won with veteran players throwing hucks to Toaster and me.

Lessons learned playing ultimate:
Always bring a light and a dark and always pack them with your cleats in your carry-on.

Personal comment:
Thanks to all my current and former teammates and all my opponents who have motivated me to be a better ultimate player and a better person.

Noteworthy:
Ted and Jeanne has their first son in 2002.

Favorite Type of Play:
I like the Give Go, the Shake Bake, Working What my Momma gave me, and the Stick and Move!

Reason for playing ultimate:
I enjoy the grabassing opportunites available to me in the team sport setting. Although I don't enjoy interacting with other teams on a social level, I understand that this is a necessary evil.

When and where started playing ultimate:
I started playing Frisbee in UCSB's Intraumural program. After gaining notarity in this small arena, I quickly moved onto the college seen. I almost quit because all of the Black Tide guys kept telling me what to do in a very rude manner, but I got used to it.

Lessons learned playing ultimate:
Don't count your chickens before they're hatched, and don't put BenGay on your face.

Personal comment:
I would just like to thank all the little people in the Frisbee world, because without losers there wouldn't be any winners.
