Favorite Type of Play:
I like man D because it is just me against my man, no excuses. I have every ability to completely shut him down or to get scored on; but either way, it's all on me.

Reason for playing ultimate:
I love it. It's fun. Great sport that I can play competetively. Young sport that is still evolving rapidly, and I like to think that I can contribute to that evolution.

When and where started playing ultimate:
UCSB Black Tide. Fall of 99.

Lessons learned playing ultimate:
Teamwork. Leadership. Poise. Patience. Passion.

Personal comment:
Condors are an amazing group of guys. They come together like no team I have ever been a part of or even seen. They define the word "team" for me and give me a new understanding of its power.

Noteworthy:
Youngest player on team in 2001-2002.

Favorite Type of Play:
I’ve always preferred defense. I enjoy digging in and playing hard nosed blue collar defense. I like laying it out past my guy and catching the D block. I like how the game can change by stuffing and scoring a goal.

Reason for playing ultimate:
I play Ultimate because I enjoy running hard, competing, getting a great work out and then kicking back and reflecting, spewing and drinking with my teammates.

When and where started playing ultimate:
I started playing in the Fall of 1984. I was a sophomore in college at Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, Illinois.

Lessons learned playing ultimate:
How much maturity it takes to play at a high level in a self officiated sport. I’ve personally grown in my own maturity level over the years playing.

Personal comment:
I played for 13 years before I started playing with the Condors. It’s a different game when you play with guys as talented and cool as this group. The experience of working together so hard and then reaching the level of success we’ve achieved is amazing and something I will never forget for the rest of my life. Friendships have been made here that will last a lifetime, and that’s just another great bonus.

Noteworthy:
Oldest player on team in 2001.
Retired after the 2001 season.
