Semifinals
Condors vs DoG

Inside scoop by Corey Sanford from the Condors:

Andy Crews, one of the Condor co-captains, put it very simply. "It was the first game all year where we never had one lull." And he was right. Not counting the early turnover that gave DoG a 3-1 lead, the offense was unstoppable and the defense played some of the best shut down D of the year.

New rookies scored goals. Transplant players from other club teams did everything asked of them. And the tried and true Condors that have been there for the last 3 years at Nationals brought out every level of frustration from two previous finals losses and simply played the best Ultimate of their lives. When it was all over, the joy the Condors felt was the very reason they have kept playing all these years. Doing something that no one but us thought was possible.

Note: The pictures below were taken by a digital video camera.
While taking the video I was trying to get as much of the field and the surrounding players as possible. Therefore the pictures are from a distance. Many are not good close ups, but you can get a feel for what is going on around the player making the D or catch. I hope you enjoy them.
