Kaimana Klassik XIII

Feb. 19-21, 2000
Waimanalo, Oahu, HI

The Nadamooger team with Condors contingent beat up on the Southern Discomfort team first in pool play 15 - 14. This was a great game to watch. Southern had us 14 - 12, game to 15, and we put in a solid seven for the next three points. They literally handed us the victory in the finals. They had to play a hard quarter and semi, whereas we cruzed through ours. They were exhausted come finals. They had nothing left.

So chalk another pre-season win for the Condors. Yahoo...

Taro, Gav, Mike, and myself were the Condors contingent in Hawaii.

Dr. J's Children (aka 9 Condors and 5 pickups) were victorious in Salt Lake City.

"Dr. J's Children" Roster:
Andy Crews
Blake Garnand
Greg Husak (captain)
Mike Namkung
Taro Ramberg
Brent Russell
Corey Sanford
Mario Viani
Ryan Yarbrough
Steve Ferguson
Mike Hall
Jimmy Price
John Shelton
Damien

Note: Play of the day may have been Damien's catch while tying his shoes.
The shoe tying catch was truely one of the funniest things ever on the field. Damien is tying his shoes while we are walking a turnover up to the line. But he does not call an equipment timeout. So his guy is standing there, not really doing anything. It was cold and windy and raining, so everything was in slow motion. There is a pass to someone, it goes right through their hands, a complete wiff. Then a defender swipes at it and misses, and without even getting up from the shoes, Damien just puts up his hands and catches the disc.
